After transferring the 5 frames, the bees, and the queen, here are my recommendations for the season:
Varroa treatment:
- In June, treat with VarroxSan and leave the strips in place during July and August.
- In December, treat with VarroxSan and leave the strips in place during January and February.
Feeding:
- 1 pollen patty in July and 1 pollen patty in August.
- 1 gallon of syrup in October (if necessary).
